In Loving Memory of Minister Arthur Gill, Jr.

Arthur Gill, Jr., of Raleigh, North Carolina, made his heavenly transition on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the age of 67.

Arthur was born on December 31, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Arthur J. Gill, Sr., and Willie Sue Gill.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur J. Gill, Sr., and Willie Sue Gill; his son, Samuel Gose; his wife, Pastor Bernice Collins-Gill; his sister, Barbara Elaine Gill; and his brother, Saint Elmo Gill.

Arthur was a charismatic man with a big personality and a presence that was impossible to forget. Everyone who knew him knew him affectionately as “Fluddy.” He had a love for art, music, ministering, and spending time with his family. His vibrant spirit, personality, and love for those around him will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Arthur leaves to cherish his memory his children; Tasha (Michelle) Gill, Parris (Ellen) Gill, Bryant Gill, Lakisha (Fred) Gill-Madry, Shameka (William) Gill, Lakila (Trent) Gill, Arthur Gill III, Marie Edwards, Charles (Crystal) Edwards, John (Marissa) Edwards, Stephanie Edwards, and Jeremy Edwards.

He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Deborah Stone; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arthur Gill, Jr., will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
